About Gunnie:
Gunnie is our sweet senior who was literally saved from euthenasia in the waiting room of a vet’s office. A friend who was in that waiting room with her own dog called us to see if we would give Gunnie a second chance at life because his owner could no longer afford to care for him. Gunnie has a medical condition that is currently in the process of being diagnosed that causes instability in his blood suger levels (diabetes has been ruled out). However, just a simple change in his diet to a high protein/high-fiber food has garnered dramatic changes in his conditionHe needs to be in a home where he can be fed 6 small meals over the course of 24 hours. He also needs somebody who can let him out for several potty breaks, and possesses patience for the occasional accident in the house. Beagles are known to be a friendly breed, and Gunnie will not disappoint. He know many tricks and commands, and is a very intelligent guy.
