About Yana:
Yana is a cute little Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix that came to us from our local animal control when it was determined that her owners were not providing her with proper care. She was a little thin, was in need of a good grooming and covered in fleas but, despite never recieving much by way of love and affection, was not in terrible condition overall. A good bath, a haircut, and some veterinary care left Yana in much better spirits; she now shows everyone just what a great little companion she will be! Yana is tiny, weighing in at under 15 pounds, and isn’t expected to get any bigger. She gets along great with other dogs and doesn’t seem to mind being picked up and carried, and would be an ideal candidate for a home with children who know how to properly handle little dogs! Yana can be a bit of a barker so may not be the best fit for apartment life. Yana’s new family must be committed to keeping up with her grooming, but her long, golden hair makes her the perfect choice for someone in need of a hypoallergenic or non-shed dog!
