About Zorra:

Zorra is a sweetheart of a Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. When she arrived, she was very thin and we couldn’t get her to eat much; turns out she had Leptospirosis! She is currently undergoing treatment and is feeling so much better! She has begun licking her bowl clean and will dance for pieces of hot dogs! Zorra is a little timid in new environments but settles in quickly — throw another dog in the mix and she really comes to life! Zorra absolutely loves other dogs and would really benefit from having a canine brother or sister — this isn’t a requirement, but extra points to the applicant who can give her this! Zorra really likes people too and while she comes off as a little shy initially, she will very quickly become your best friend! She enjoys going for walks but could use a little help learning how to walk properly on a leash. We think Zorra would do ok in a home with older, dog-savvy children.
