About Winnie:
Winnie is a six month old akita puppy who was found wandering the street. Despite our best efforts, she was never claimed, but that’s ok! She has become a staff favorite very quickly and we think she will find her forever home quickly! Winnie is the sweetest little akita — she loves every person she meets and will gladly jump into your lap to give hugs and kisses. She walks well on a leash and is excited to go out for walks or even just to play in the yard! She loves playing with other dogs and could play for hours without stopping! Winnie would do well in a home with children that are steady on their feet as she can be a little rambunctious when excited or playful. This little girl is quiet and never makes a mess in her kennel; we think she will make a great companion for just about any family ready for an active young dog!
